Our annual t-shirt sale takes place in the fall. Although some money is made on the sale of the t-shirts, the priority is to make the t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and bags available to the entire JMP community and its friends and supporters.
For the 2009-10 school year we have a special 20th Anniversary design generously donated by JMP parent Micah Kassell. This design is printed in color on charcoal gray organic cotton and is available in men's, ladies' and youth sizing. Please fill out the order form and either mail to PO Box 14293 Portland, OR 97293 or return to the Oya No Kai box at the Richmond office, to Matt Bacon Brenes at Mt. Tabor or Kazuko Page at Grant. This design is also available printed in black on a wide-mouthed stainless steel water bottle (BPA free) and in color on black canvas bags with reinforced grommet handles. For questions regarding merchandise, please contact Maya Mori.
One of the designs from 2005 features a Kanji, meaning "peace," written by beloved JMP calligraphy teacher Okada Sensei, who passed away in the summer of 2005. The red crane (symbolizing the JMP) rests on a "lantern" representing the warmth and guiding light which Okada Sensei radiated to the entire JMP community. A limited number of these are still available at ONK events and by request.
Products will be available at other events and meetings throughout the year; watch the listservs and Oshirase for details.
Note: ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
