Did you all see the Innisbrook Gift Wrap Fundraiser envelope that was sent home in your child's backpack? The good news is that you don't have to keep track of all the paper work in the packet this year. There is a website that makes selling and keeping track of items so easy.

WHY A GIFT WRAP SALE?

Our Oya No Kai Gift Wrap sale supports 19 Japanese interns who are an integral part of the Japanese Magnet Program at Richmond Elementary, Mt. Tabor Middle and Grant High Schools. In addition to assisting the Japanese teachers in the classroom, interns ensure that JMP students hear two Japanese language speakers on a daily basis. At Richmond, these interns help out with all classroom duties, provide a cultural link for the program, are available for one-on-one tutoring and teach at the Kurabu summer camp. The interns are also a valued asset to the middle and high schools when the Japanese language program filters into other school curricula.

HOW DOES THE SALE SUPPORT OUR INTERNS?
The Gift Wrap Sale is one of our most important efforts to raise the $60,000 needed our interns' stipends, transportation and other expenses for the year they spend with our children. Our goal for this sale is to raise $20,000 in sales, which nets us about $10,000 in profit. The per student cost of this program is $85.00 for the 2011-2012 school year.

HOW DO WE PARTICIPATE?
Order gift wrap and other items for yourself, and share the information with your neighbors, family, friends and co-workers. There are more than 40 patterns of high quality paper and dozens of attractive and tasty gift items to choose from this year. You'll find that many have purchased Innisbrook items before and know how exceptional their products are. It's an easy sale!

HOW MUCH OF THE SALE BENEFITS OUR INTERN PROGRAM?
Innisbrook is one of the best and highest quality fundraisers available to schools. We earn 40% of every sale you make. There are so many types of items to choose from - from gift wrap and candy, to magazine subscriptions and gift items. If every student sells only 10 items, our $10,000 goal will be reached.

HOW DO I PLACE MY CHILD'S ORDER?
Just visit www.innisbrook.com and select the PARENTS EZ ORDER (the Monkey in the red and tan box in the middle) to enter your order from the "ORDER WORKSHEET." Be sure to use this PARENTS EZ ORDER section to place your order and receive free shipping to Richmond school. Enter our school number 106769, and you will be prompted to enter your student's information so they can qualify for sale prizes. (REMEMBER - THE MONKEY IS FREE SHIPPING FOR DELIVERY TO RICHMOND!)

CAN FRIENDS AND FAMILY IN OTHER AREAS PLACE AN ORDER?
You bet your gift wrap monkey they can! You can increase your orders without having to deliver items to far flung family and friends. Just have them visit www.innisbrook.com and click on the blue FAMILY & FRIENDS order on the right side of the page with the gift wrap picture. Ask them to enter school 106769 and enter your child's name so they receive credit. There is also an email option on the site that will send your child's information to each email address you enter with a hotlink to the correct site.

The order will then be automatically credited to your student and the items will be shipped to your out of town friends and family. This means that friends and family in Minneapolis can order gift wrap to support your children at Richmond, and you don't get stuck picking up their order and trying to get it to them. It's easy, and they get to support our kids' education in the Japanese Immersion Program. Best of all, their purchase absolves them of guilt for not visiting last summer!

DO I HAVE TO ORDER ONLINE?
You can also turn in the paper order form to the Oya No Kai mailbox in the Richmond Elementary School office. If you turn in the paper order form, be sure to include checks made out to Oya No Kai.

WHEN DOES THE SALE END?
Orders are due by October 7, so please get your ordering done soon!

However, any time during the year, you can order giftwrap on-line. Forty (40) percent of the proceeds will come to Oya No Kai. Go to www.innisbrook.com, enter the Richmond School Number: 106769 and start shopping. Proceeds from your purchase will benefit the General Budget Fund that supports the classrooms, interns and much, much more.

WHEN WILL OUR ORDER ARRIVE?
Orders placed online via the PARENTS EZ ORDER or with a paper order form will arrive to be picked up at Richmond around November 23rd, which is parent/ teacher conference week. This gives you plenty of time to deliver items during the Thanksgiving break or even give them to friends or family at Thanksgiving gatherings.

Orders placed by out of town friends and family through the Innisbrook.com FAMILY & FRIENDS link will be shipped directly to them within 10-14 days of placing the order.
