GoodSearch.com
Searching for something on the Internet? GoodSearch.com is a search engine powered by Yahoo, the largest search engine service provider. For every search made through them, GoodSearch.com will contribute 1 cent. If you think about how many times you search the Internet every day, every week, you could help generate some good money for Oya no Kai! Simply start at the link above or the Oya no Kai home page, enter "Oya No Kai" in the "I'm supporting" box and click the "Verify" button, and conduct your search. You can even download a GoodSearch toolbar for
Internet Explorer
or Firefox.
eScrip.com
Oya no Kai is a member of eScrip.com. To contribute, simply go to the Web site and register your credit cards and store "club" or "member" cards. Every time you use those cards at specific businesses, ONK gets a percentage, depending upon the merchant. Our vendor number is 500519662. Safeway is one example of a store that donates thru eScrip; simply register your Safeway Club Card and qualifying purchases are tallied at the register. You can check your contributions 60 days after the end of every month.
WaMoola For Schools
Did you know that Richmond gets money for WaMoola sign ups with Washington Mutual? Every time a Washington Mutual debit card or Visa check card is used (the amount of money does not matter), the designated school earns points. A check is written to the school once a year based upon the school's earned points. There is no charge to enroll in the program, but you do need to register your debit card or Visa check card.
Oregon Cultural Trust
Oya No Kai is a registered cultural nonprofit with the Oregon Cultural Trust, which was created by civic, business and cultural leaders to preserve and strengthen every aspect of Oregon culture. Its goal is to create a protected endowment of over $200 million to provide long-term support for culture in Oregon. Grants given by the OCT go to support cultural activites and heritage in Oregon. When you make a donation to the OCT, you may claim a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your income tax return (consult your tax preparer for details).
Office Depot
Did you know that Office Depot will give 5% of purchases to Richmond? All you have to do is tell the cashier at checkout to designate the sale to #70084276. They can look the number up in a book if necessary. In addition if you tell the cashier to put the purchase toward Oya No Kai's Office Depot
Advantage Card #1324769411 we get a $20.00 gift card to use for every $200.00 in sales over a 3-month period. If you forgot to do this at the store, you can go online and still designate the sale if you kept your receipt.
Schoolpop.com
If you purchase items online, go through www.schoolpop.com. Richmond PTA will get a percentage of your purchase. There are tons of stores listed and the percentages vary. Some you can even use scrip to pay, so you basically get double credit.
Special note: The Richmond PTA has graciously offered to donate all monies raised through Schoolpop.com to the new playground project.
iGive.com
A similar Web site to eScrip and Schoolpop is iGive.com. Shoppers can choose from hundreds of stores which then give a percentage of each sale to Oya No Kai. The first purchase you make through this site will generate a $5.00 extra contribution regardless of the percentage amount from the store purchased from. This extra contribution must be "redeemed" within the first 45 days of joining.
Albertsons.com
Albertson's also donates money to schools. Like Safeway's program, you can go to the Albertson's Web site and link your Advantage card with Oya No Kai. Go to Community Partners and follow the instructions to link your Preferred Savings Card to our community number, 49000100136. We probably get $400.00 per year this way.
