On behalf of this year's fifth grade class, a big thank you to the Sponsors & Donors of the 11th Annual "Our Dreams Take Flight" Auction to benefit the Japanese Magnet Program held at the Portland Expo on April 9. We couldn't have done it without you!

May 1
Barnes & Noble Bookfair at LLoyd Center. The fifth graders will be performing and demonstrating origami, calligraphy, etc. There will be arts and crafts, storytelling, etc. A portion of the sales will be designated for the JMP. A voucher from Barnes & Noble must accompany each purchase in order to get the proceeds from the sale.

A raffle will be held for two (2) coach class round trip tickets to Asia on Northwest Airlines at $10 per raffle ticket. Tickets will be on sale very soon.
May 19
After Auction/Rummage Sale at the Richmond cafeteria. Donations are gladly accepted on Thursday the 19th from 1-2pm in the cafeteria. The sale will include a few auction donations, rummage sale items, bake sale, plants and dinner food items. No admission fee. Open 3-7pm to the public. The Oya No Kai meeting will be held in conjunction with the rummage sale and will begin at 7:00pm. The sale will continue for JMP/Richmond families until 8:00pm.
