Dear JMP Families,

Thank you to everyone who attended the 13th annual "Our Dreams Take Flight Auction" last Friday!

Here are some initial results, which will vary in the next few weeks as loose payments and expenses are finalized.

These totals translate to the following amounts for each group:

We have many reasons to celebrate these numbers. Consider the following facts:

  1. This is the first year the auction has been in February - so close to the holidays; BUT people were still generous with their giving.
  2. Our auction committee had no ticket sale chair person or corporate table chair person; BUT without these people in place, there were still 264 tickets sold, including 6 patron tables.
  3. Auction committee had no procurement chair person; BUT over $88,000 in items and services were still procured.
  4. We raised $17,600 for our interns. This is only $2,100 less than last year when there were 360 tickets sold.

It has been our pleasure to be your auction co-chairs for 2007. A warm thank you to everyone who volunteered, attended, procured or assisted in any way. We welcome your auction feedback.

Gratefully,
Jody Little
